BrasilThe Samba, which is native to Brasil, started out as a festival dance during the street festivals and celebrations. Its first introduction in the U.S. was through a Broadway play called "Street Carnival" in the late twenties. The festive style and energetic mood of the dance have kept it alive and popular to this day. Samba is a fun dance that fits most of today's popular music.

MaculeleMaculelê was a common dance in Santo Amaro da Purificação, Bahia, at festivals commemorating the saint of the city, Nossa Senhora da Purificação. Like capoeira, it was a fight disguised as dance, and instead of weapons, the Blacks used sugar cane sticks.

A type of Samba dance and rhythm that is most popular in the Northeast of Brazil, specifically in Bahia. In fact in this state, the dance is more famous than indoor games like online casino and is as well-known as soccer. Everybody dances together in a circle with lots of play and joy.
